PRESS RELEASE:  DRESSER, WISCONSIN

Green Bay, Wisconsin (May 31, 2004)

Due to violent storms battering the Midwest, CORR officials were forced to cancel rounds 1 and 2 at Trollhaugen Ski Area in Dresser, Wisconsin.  CORR officials have not determined a make up for the two rounds.  An announcement will be made as to when and where these rounds will be made up shortly.

On Thursday Josh and fellow crew member’s were on hand at Waldoch Crafts and Custom Center to show off the brand new Toyota Tacoma.  “This is very exciting for me, the owners and fans here are very interested in this type of racing, I’m glad that I got the opportunity to do this.”  Overall the mega truck show went well.  “What a beautiful day, I’m hoping that the rains hold out until after memorial day weekend.”

Josh and his crew were saddened to see the races cancelled but were fortunate enough to get a practice round in on Friday before all the rains came.  He got to get a real feel for the truck in the tight turns of the short course track.  After the practice he was asked how he felt all he could say is "AWESOME!  This truck is a world of difference from racing the Light Buggy, but I feel that in time I will get more comfortable with it.  I’m not here to impress anybody this year, I want to use this year as a learning year to be more competitive in years to come.  If all goes well, I’m shooting to get rookie of the year in this class and hopefully a top ten finish."

"I feel bad for all of the fans and competitors along with the promoters of the track waiting for this weekend to come only to see it get washed out, I guess I’ll get to cut my teeth at Antigo."

The 2004 CORR Lucas Oil Series will head to Langlade County Fairgrounds in Antigo, Wisconsin on June 12-13 in what will be the opening two rounds of the 2004 CORR Lucas Oil Series.
